Studio dVO uses a number of self-developed tools for consulting and research in the field of environmental psychology.
I use this model to analyze all environments, from hospitals to homes. The model shows how the quality of an environment or building depends on the extent to which the environment is tailored to the needs of the target group (e.g. patient, student or prisoner), staff, visitors and the environment.
Generative Space is the continuation of Healing Environment and goes one step further. While Healing Environment focuses on increasing well-being within a building, Generative Space is about systematically and sustainably improving the well-being and health of an organization, all its stakeholders, and the community.
Studio dVO has valid and tested questionnaires to measure the perception of the environment by staff, patients and visitors.
This method maps the customer’s emotional journey and provides insight into customer expectations and evaluations.
Based on the model and research, Studio dVO has developed several quality indexes for assessing the quality of housing of organizations (including hospitals, (acute) psychiatry, elderly care, offices and prisons). The index can be used in the evaluation of existing buildings, in the preparation or evaluation of a program of requirements or (schematic) design.
Studio dVO provides the ability to benchmark data with data from satisfaction surveys conducted in other healthcare organizations.
