PROJECTS – EDUCATION
The Hague University
FEATURED PROJECT
A new housing concept is being implemented at The Hague University of Applied Sciences with the aim of improving the quality of the working and learning environment and increasing efficiency. Within the FM department, this new concept did not fit well with the wishes of employees and students. The FM identity was missing and the work processes were not supported everywhere as desired.
Studio dVO was asked to conduct a quick scan of the work environment to identify the mismatches between FM employees and their work environment. This included examining which activities belong to the various functions within FM and how they translate into an (activity-related) workplace. The quick scan was conducted through observations, interviews with employees and students, and by studying documentation. Based on the findings, recommendations were made to improve the working and learning environment.
