The ambition of the Laurentius Hospital Roermond (LZR) was to ensure that the new construction and renovation of the outpatient clinics, hotfloor and nursing departments would optimally meet the wishes and needs of the various patients, visitors and staff. Studio dVO’s contribution was to check at every stage of the design process, from initiation to realization, whether what the client had in mind was actually realized. By applying knowledge in the field of Healing Environment, Evidence Based Design and Generative Space, the final result was optimized.
